Discover Open Source
An introduction to and survey of open source options tailored to participants' interests.
"Discover Open Source" workshops introduce participants to the open source ecosystem and walk through the options that align with their interests and needs. Sessions are organized around the participant's working context — a small business owner, a nonprofit administrator, a creative professional, a civic leader — and survey the open source software, services, and communities relevant to that context.
Topics covered: what open source actually is, why it matters for your organization, how to find and evaluate open source projects, how to choose between open source alternatives, how to participate in open source communities, and how Chattanooga.Digital can deploy and maintain open source software for you so you don't have to.
Want to get involved? Pre-join the co-op and let us know what you're interested in — when we run the next session aligned to your context, we'll send you an invite.
